Dr. Craig Anderson, B.A. (Psych.), D.C.

Clinic Director, Chiropractor

Dr. Anderson has been practicing in the GTA for over 15 years. After being highly involved with Chiropractic as a competitive volleyball player and patient in his younger years, he graduated with honours from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon in 1997. He also holds a degree in Psychology from the University of British Columbia where he was an active member of the UBC Volleyball Program, and a Men's Division A National Gold Medalist.

"He Listens." Dr. Anderson focuses on each patient and their unique needs to develop the personal treatment plan and home care regimen that will get them out of pain and back to mobility as quickly as possible. Since founding Markham Family Chiropractic Clinic in 2000, he has helped thousands of people of all ages and activity levels defeat their pain and improve their mobility, from weekend warriors to internationally ranked athletes.

DR. Michael Lue Pann

Chiropractor

Dr. Michael Lue Pann is a graduate from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. Prior to receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic degree he studied at Queen’s University completing an Honours Bachelor degree in Biology. 

Before Dr. Mike began his career as a chiropractor, he was a life long chiropractic patient. Because of this, he was able to experience the astounding and life-changing benefits that chiropractors provide to patients they treat. Wanting to share his knowledge and experience with others, Dr. Mike was inspired to become a chiropractor to provide top quality care to his patients. 

Dr. Mike believes that his patients’ health comes first and that proper body movement and function is important to your overall health and well-being. If your body doesn’t move properly, it can negatively affect your health, manifesting into pain, muscle tightness and soreness, inflammation and decreased quality of life. Through chiropractic treatment, it is Dr. Mike’s goal to restore proper movement and function to your body to alleviate symptoms and help you optimize your health.

Era Jalondoni

Registered Physiotherapist

Era graduated from De La Salle University – Health Science Campus, Philippines in 1995 with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to that, she took Biology at St. Paul’s University, Quezon City, Philippines and graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science Degree.
She worked in an outpatient clinic and hospital setting in the Philippines before moving to Singapore. Era worked for the Cerebral Palsy Association of Singapore wherein she saw children who were physically and mentally challenged.
Era has been a member of the College of Physiotherapy of Ontario since 2014. She has treated various conditions including musculoskeletal and sports injuries, and uses different techniques like mulligan and soft tissue mobilization.

Liping (Sophie) Song

After working as a nurse for 16 years in China, Sophie moved to Canada and decided to apply her extensive medical knowledge to the study of Massage Therapy. She graduated from the Royal Institute of Science & Management in 2010 and soon registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. In 2011, she studied Acupuncture at the same school and became registered to practise in Canada.

Prior to enrolling for her Massage Therapy program in Canada, Sophie was trained in Chinese Massage techniques in China, and remained there to practise for a year to further develop her skill set.

As a Registered Massage Therapist, Sophie's training now includes Swedish and Chinese massage techniques, hot stone therapy, traditional Chinese cupping, lymphatic drainage, prenatal massage, and foot reflexology. Sophie's extensive experience in the medical field as a nurse, as well as her training in both Eastern and Western philosophy and techniques, provide her with an uncommonly broad skill set and uniquely qualify her with the knowledge and experience to handle any problem our patients may be experiencing.

Ming Fong (Joyce) Ma

Joyce is a registered acupuncturist with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario and a Registered Massage Therapist. Her treatments usually incorporate deep tissue relief by employing principles of Eastern acupuncture meridian points. She treated thousands patients with different types of pain, neck and shoulder, tension headaches, facial pain, migraines, lower back and hip pain, sciatica and much more. Whatever modalities within scope of practice are being used, the goal of her treatment is to deliver a treatment that works.

Wency Chan

Wency has been registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario since 2009 and she is a member of the RMTAO. She has worked in the health care field for 10 years. Wency’s special massage techniques include hot stone, Thai stretching, lymphatic drainage, prenatal massage, and cupping therapy.

Mandie Lai Chin Chu

Mandie's curiosity about human anatomy started off her career as a Registered Massage Therapist. Mandie has been registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario since 2012, and she is also a member of the Ontario Massage Therapists Association. Beside Swedish massage technique, she also has extensive training in hot stone, traditional Chinese Tuina and cupping therapy. With vast experience throughout the years, Mandie has become an expert in treating frozen shoulder, tennis elbow and carpal tunnel syndrome, etc. She will work side by side with Dr. Anderson and physiotherapists to tailor the most suitable treatment plan to meet our clients' goals

Balkaran Parmar

Balkaran is a graduate of the Canadian College of Massage Therapy who has a passion for helping people achieve their wellness and relaxation goals. During his earlier years through high school, he practiced jiujitsu, wrestling and muay Thai and he is now competing in powerlifting. Balkaran, has decided to develop a specialization in deep tissue massage, sports massage and hydro therapy. During his time in school, there was a strong focus on treating and understanding musculoskeletal problems and injuries. His experience as an intern at Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy clinic has provided him with the knowledge and skills to enter the workforce and provide excellent care and service to clients. He is excited and looking forward to embark on his journey as a Registered Massage Therapist.

Lisa Chen

R.M.T.

Lisa graduated from Changsha, China University of Science and Technology in 1982. In 1996 she went to Hunan, China University of Traditional Chinese Medicine for a training program of Acupuncture and Chinese Massage.
From 2006 to 2008, Lisa studied Massage therapy at Protégé School in Toronto and passed all examination of the College of Massage therapy of Ontario and became a Registered Massage Therapist in 2008.

Her special massage techniques include hot stone, Thai stretching, lymphatic drainage, prenatal massage, cupping therapy, and acupuncture. Lisa treats patients with knowledge, skills (with Eastern and Western techniques) and passion.

In her free time Lisa enjoys jogging and hiking.
